professionally and quickly. A company&#x27;s business model is the foundation of modern operations. Developing and re-evaluating the business model is often the source of new opportunities for improvement, whether the idea involves starting a new company or restructuring an existing business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Hugmyndavinna\">Brainstorming<\/h2>\n\n\n<style><\/style><style><\/style>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-palette-color-1-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-palette-color-1-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ideation is the foundation of a successful business idea, but while it&#x27;s important to put pride into the ideation process, an idea by itself is not enough to launch a project. At this stage, it&#x27;s a good idea to get someone to help you review the ideas, consider them, work with them, and make a selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you run out of ideas, it&#x27;s a good idea to use methods that help you evaluate which one is the most promising to start with. Sometimes ideas are related, and you can even work on them simultaneously. The following are some methods that can be used to develop ideas further to a point where you can make an informed decision about whether to continue or choose another path.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Tvingadar-hugmyndir\">Forced ideas<\/h2>\n\n\n<style><\/style><style><\/style>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-palette-color-1-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-palette-color-1-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Various methods can be used to force ideas about anything and nothing, or a specific subject that needs to be solved.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"attan\">Eight<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The eight is one of the methods that can be used to force ideas. A sheet of paper is folded into eight parts (folding it twice). Set a timer for eight minutes. Write or draw one idea in each box. After eight minutes, you will have eight ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"post-it-midar\">Post-it notes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The timer is set for 5-10 minutes, and one idea goes on each Post-it note. As many ideas as possible are written down during the time limit, and at the end, all the notes are posted on a wall. Ideas are categorized, and participants evaluate the best ideas to move forward with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Stemmningsspjald\">Mood board<\/h2>\n\n\n<style><\/style><style><\/style>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-palette-color-1-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-palette-color-1-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mood board<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This method can be used whether you are working on a basic business concept or specific projects (logo design, brochure design, website, interior design). A mood board is a collection of images and concepts that are meant to reflect a mood or evoke specific feelings that may be difficult to express in writing or convey verbally. This method can also help you find your unique selling proposition or help others understand what makes you different from others in the market.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mood boards help lay the foundation that will eventually develop into a specific theme \u2013 colors, fonts, shapes, music, furniture, or anything else that supports the core activity. A mood board is a good way to bring teams together around common ground for ideas by creating a shared vision.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Various techniques can be used to create a mood board. You can cut out pictures, words, and sentences and paste them onto an A3 or larger board. It&#x27;s a good idea to take a break from the computer with this method, but it&#x27;s not necessary. It&#x27;s good to grab a piece of paper and a pen, but writing on paper can have a different and more positive effect on the brain than typing on a keyboard.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Word bank<\/strong>. It&#x27;s a good idea to write down everything that comes to mind about a specific topic. This creates a word bank for a particular project you are working on. Creating a word bank can help get the idea development started, rather than thinking about the whole picture from the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mapping<\/strong>. Next, it&#x27;s a good idea to sort the words and organize your thoughts. This way, you can create a mind map for the project with as many subcategories as you like. The goal is placed in the center, and categories are created from it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Bridge the gap<\/strong>. Whether you realize it or not, you are grappling with some kind of gap. You are in a certain place but want to be in another. Write down all the steps that need to be taken to get there. People tend to think in a way that suits them, and the 6 Thinking Hats exercise helps them adopt a different way of thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The method is suitable for individuals or groups to solve specific problems. The color of the hats is a metaphor for different stages of thought or discussion, which are then integrated into a solution or decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Usually, the white hat is used first to align participants&#x27; views on the current situation. Each hat is then presented for a few minutes. The least time is spent on the red hat, as it calls for first reactions rather than an evaluation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The White Hat<\/strong>&nbsp;is a hat of information. Systematically examine the facts and available information about the topic. Consider the knowledge and skills necessary to solve the problem and where to access them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Red Hat<\/strong>&nbsp;It is a hat of emotions. Consider the topic in light of the emotions associated with it. What emotions do the participants have about the topic? Anger, joy, fear? What are the first reactions?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Black Hat<\/strong>&nbsp;This is the hat of negativity. Examine the topic with a negative attitude. What is wrong with the plan? Why shouldn&#x27;t it work? What problems could arise? What are the risks involved?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Yellow Hat<\/strong>&nbsp;This is the hat of positivity. Examine the topic with a positive attitude. What is good and right about the plan? Why will the plan work? What is the outcome? What are the benefits of the plan? Think here about vision and dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Green Hat<\/strong>&nbsp;is a creative hat. Approach the topic creatively. Look at the topic from a different perspective to get new ideas and solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Blue Hat<\/strong>&nbsp;is the planning hat. The blue hat is used to define the subject matter clearly, examine the objective, and how to get there. Review what has been accomplished, what the next steps are, what the plan is going forward, and summarize the decisions that have been made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Hva-svo\">What&#x27;s next?<\/h2>\n\n\n<style><\/style><style><\/style>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-palette-color-1-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-palette-color-1-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once an idea has been selected, it is necessary to run it through a more detailed analytical tool to assess its potential in the market. A simple method for performing a basic evaluation of an idea is to examine it based on its potential in the market. A simple method for performing a basic assessment of an idea is to examine it from the perspective of the Canvas Business Model (BMC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"business-model\">Business Model Canvas<\/h2>\n\n\n<style><\/style><style><\/style>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-palette-color-1-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-palette-color-1-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Business Model Canvas is a tool that can be used for ideation and strategy development, whether for new business ideas or existing companies. It emphasizes highlighting an idea&#x27;s unique value proposition and maximizing value creation. The method is based on a simple visual canvas where the key aspects of the idea are entered: Product Value, Infrastructure, Customers, and Finance. Value for the customer can be embodied in innovations, improved functionality, low price, better quality, a simple user interface, good design, and a strong brand image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"lykilsamstarf\"><strong><\/strong>Key Partnership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Partnership can increase efficiency and reduce risk. Good collaboration with suppliers can make it easier for a company to focus on its core business. Participants in a partnership can complement each other, and it can be viewed as a strategic alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"lykilstarfsemi\"><strong><\/strong>Core business<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The activities necessary to deliver value to customers. This could include traditional tasks like vehicle operation and personnel management. It is important to carefully consider the activities that create the company&#x27;s unique value proposition, whether that proposition is based on low price, high quality, or something else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"lykilaudlindir\"><strong><\/strong>Key resources<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The resources necessary to create value for the customer. Resources are the assets the company uses to maintain its operations. These resources can include, for example, human capital, financial capital, and intellectual property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"vidskiptavinir\"><strong><\/strong>Customers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is important to understand which customers the company intends to serve. Target groups can be divided according to their different needs, and the company aims to meet the needs of its target groups. Target groups can include, for example, the business market, women, teenagers, athletes, and vacation home owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"dreifileidir\"><strong><\/strong>Distribution paths<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A company can deliver value to its customers through various distribution channels. Efficient distribution channels are fast and cost-effective. Distribution channels can, for example, be over the counter or through distributors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"samskipti\"><strong><\/strong>Communication<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is important to emphasize specific and conscious communication with each target group. Customer communication can, for example, be based on personal interaction or self-service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"kostnadur\"><strong><\/strong>Cost<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Various costs are incurred by the operation, and there are different approaches one can take. Some companies are driven by keeping all costs to a minimum, while others place a greater emphasis on quality. Fixed costs are costs that do not change with increased production, e.g., rent. Variable costs are costs that are incurred for each unit produced, e.g., raw materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"tekjur\"><strong><\/strong>Income<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A company&#x27;s revenue can be generated in various ways.
