Fablab Suðurnes is operated in the facilities of Fjölbrautaskóli Suðurnesja.
A Fab Lab (Fabrication Laboratory) is a digital workshop with the tools and equipment to make almost anything. A Fab Lab gives people of all ages—individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses—the opportunity to exercise their creativity and bring their ideas to life by designing, shaping, and producing things with the help of digital technology.
The Fablab board is composed of representatives from the Association of Municipalities in the South-West, Reykjanesbær, and educational institutions in the region, as well as the government.
Fablab will offer various courses, and you can book time to work on projects, in addition to its regular opening hours.
