Promotional meeting of Íslandsstofa on Icelandic export industries
Icelandic Trade Council is currently traveling the country to present a revised export policy and to report on its actions and services in support of exports.
Last year, a revised long-term strategy for Icelandic exports was approved at a meeting of the Export and Marketing Council. Icelandic Trade Board led the work on the strategy, which is a collaborative project between the government and the business community. Its goal is to promote increased export revenues and sustainable economic growth in Iceland.
In February and March 2026, representatives of Íslandsstofa will hit the road, with CEO Pétur Þ. Óskarsson leading the way, traveling around the country to present a revised strategy.
The fifth stop of the tour is Reykjanesbær, where a briefing will be held in cooperation with the Association of Municipalities in the South West (SSS). The meeting will be held at Hotel Keflavík in Reykjanesbær on February 26, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM. Local soup and coffee will be served.
